Rising Alabama artist Star recently released his single "FREE SHMURDA" which has garnered over 200k views and only within a few months. For someone of his underground stature, the numbers are beyond impressive.

The hook has a play on renowned NY rapper Bobby Shmurda, who's parole date was allegedly pushed back AGAIN to 2021. The hard-hitting, upbeat, instrumental is definitely one that fits right in with what today's audience expects and thrives off of.
