UC Kayla Taps Into Mental Health Awareness with "Anxiety"

One of EMPIRE's new artist UC Kayla recently unveiled a new somber and emotionally charged single "Anxiety" which has the Oakland native venting over mental health issues that not only plague her but black woman worldwife. It's deep and showcases a different side to the usually more energetic UC Kayla.

For 2022, she wishes to show more versatility and relatability within her music so this single is the start of a more mature Kayla that taps into diverse and controversial subject matter. A few inspirations for her growth is caring for her son, running her businesses, and wanting to procure music that showcases the full scope of black women.

Along with the new single is a visual that touches upon the subject matter of the track and gives new light to it.
