Maryland rapper Goonew pays tribute to lost Chicago rapper King Von (King Von 64) in latest single “Bricks” along with previewing the sound for his upcoming untitled project. Sampling Gucci Mane’s classic track with the same title, Goonew gritty bars mentions several key factors in entertainment today including OVO, Lil Durk, and Cam Newton.

Previously, Goonew dropped Big 64 2 to critical acclaim and has made noise as a rising independent artist from the DMV. Previous features on Pandora, Our Generation Music, All Hip Hop, Say Cheese, and more, Goonew has shined brightly in a bleak year.
