K.O. Mason Back With New Single “Street Poetry”


Hip-hop has bubbled over into many sub-genres, but conscious rap and the story-telling aspect has been a fan-favorite for quite some time. Chicago native K.O. Mason is definitely next in line when it comes to lyricism. Today, he released a new single called “Street Poetry”, a lyrical example of growing pains and street knowledge.

The official video is heavily full of aesthetically pleasing scenes, giving a nostalgic vibe to match the track. With some cameos of the Edward Waters Marching Band (whom can also be heard in the actual track), scenes on the bleachers, and hallway locker cameos. K.O.
