Soon after releasing “Money & Violence” featuring Jim Jones, Gwoppy made his way to WORLDSTARHIPHOP.COM's “Visuals of the Week” accumulating over 30K views in just 24 hours. The announcement comes by way of Will C, a NYC film director & CEO of STREETHEAT INC. who has a long list of work with hip hop icons under his belt.

Gwoppy, the East New York native, plans to unveil his highly anticipated EP within the upcoming months. His recent Jim Jones collaboration will be one of the songs displayed on the track list of his album. Other tracks such as, “Dunkin” featuring Doe Boy and “When I Want To” featuring Lingo & Lil Pete, will all be available on the upcoming project. Gwoppy has been hard at work and also revealed that there are new music and visuals with Kid Red and Lingo that will be premiered to the world very soon.
While speaking with Gwoppy he shared how the collaboration with Jim Jones came to fruition. “We actually linked up by chance. We were both at a studio here in NYC. Jim Jones was in the building at a private event while I was working on my album. As I prepared to record “Money & Violence”, I ran into CAPO. As he listened to the beat he said he liked it and walked into the booth and freestyled his verse right on the spot.”

This isn’t the first time Gwoppy has worked with a prominent hip hop artist. He has also collaborated with Fivio Foreign, Fetty Wap, Sosa Greek, Etha Da Connect, Mello Major, and OMB Jay Dee, to name a few. Prior to all of his recent success, Gwoppy took a step back from music to focus on other business endeavors. After three years of focusing on the Gwoppy Gumbo Brand, the driven trap artist came back stronger than ever.
The long list of songs in Gwoppy’s catalog portray his versatility and ability to remain relevant in a forever changing industry. His music takes the listener on a journey and that is exactly what he plans to do with this next album. “There are a lot of messages in this album and I speak on my lifestyle. I work hard and dream hard.” With the level of success Gwoppy has reached recently, he mentioned that being featured on Worldstar made him feel like a star. As a result of the placement, he gained a lot of followers on social media also.
