Brooklyn Lyricist Buddha Chief Unleashes New Single “Buddha Chi”

Brooklyn native Buddha Chief, also known as Vaughn Jefferson, has had a handle in the music industry for quite some time. Initially renowned as the Director of A&R for MTV2’s “Monday Night Fight Club,” the Brooklyn-born creative has also taken up the role as an active recording artist as well. Supporting his music from an executive approach, Buddha Chief definitely has the gems to making things shake, and music lovers get to witness this with the release of his most recent self-titled single “Buddha Chi.”

The new single is also paired with an official visual to match, providing a grim, gritty, NYC feeling. Buddha Chief was raised throughout the 80’s, growing and learning on the same block as Big Daddy Kane — so the authentic NYC vibe fans receive from the visual totally connects.

Alongside his artistry and industry experience, Buddha Chief is also a cannabis connoisseur, entrepreneur, and a connected member in his community. His music surely reflect his persona, and music fans won’t be disappointed. Be sure to stream “Buddha Chi” below:
