Bronx Native Director Alex Acosta is Garnering Everlasting Notoriety With Directorial Credits



The craft of a camera is one thing only certain people can master, and Bronx-bred director, editor and cinematographer Alex Acosta has mastered his craft 100 percent. As founder of his own elite production company, Prestige Film Works, Acosta has turned his passion into a prime career, and has produced nothing but very compelling work.


With over 10 years of genuine and well-earned experience, Prestige Film Works customer-favorite has definitely been music videos, and Acosta’s name can be attributed to clients, like Wale, Shy Glizzy, Juicy J, Flo Rida, Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Jadakiss, City Girls, and many more. But, music videos are not Acosta’s only specialty. He has had his hand in several featured films productions, marketing campaigns and much more, with some of America’s largest networks, like BET, REVOLT, MTV, ESPN and more.


From directing season 1 of Revolt TV’s new series “Respectfully Justin”, -- to directing the official visual for Flo Rida’s 6x Platinum single “Welcome To My House”, Acosta has been well on his way to legendary notoriety. With directorial credits on shows like Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and Jimmy Kimmel, his work has been deemed so stellar that Acosta has even shot internationally, in Italy, Dubai, Egypt, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Canada, Russia, London, and even Lebanon.
