Following the release of his V-Day-themed project 'Lines for Valentines,' Boosie Badazz adds a verse to Alabama-based songstress Alexia Jayy's on the 2023 version of her TikTok viral single "I Need A Man." Already given the stamp of approval by Kodak Black, the latest interpretation of the James “Jay Lyriq” Cohen co-written and Abraham Poythress-produced ballot possesses the perfect balance of righteousness and ratchetness.

When asked about the song's central theme, the southern belle reveals:

"This record for me is about being OK with the fact that I wanted something different and genuine. Something that makes me happy. I feel like a lot of people are afraid to talk about the things they need. We don’t really talk about needing a man or needing anybody. I wanted people to understand that it’s OK to want love for themselves. It’s OK to want somebody to treat you the way you’re supposed to be treated.”
