Dave East - "On God"

Dave East drops his first single of the year just before the release of his Paranoia 2 album, the follow up to last year's Paranoia: A True Story project. The Harlem native teamed up with producers Nick Paps and Jahlil Beats to bring us the hard-hitting "On God."

The rapper is known for spitting some killer rhymes, and this song is no exception. He raps about being on the Forbes list, cooking cocaine and doing it for the struggle. He even gives a shout out to Drake in reference to 'his Views.'

“Fuck who got the best crew / Stand still when the TEC move / Drake, you my ni**a, but this penthouse got the best views / Flush out the product and wash my hands like it’s a restroom.”

Paranoia 2 is set to drop on Tuesday January 16, the same day East kicks off his "Paranoia 2 Tour" in New York City.
